The local historian Don Battista Pio sustains that the town was founded as a result of the destruction of the castles in the towns of Vene, Vaglio and Prave, the inhabitants of which settled on the top of a hill: Mango. The Busca Castle is part of the ancient section of the town; it is a Baroque building entirely built in bricks.
Nearby, it is possible to admire the Parish Church of Saints Giacomo and Cristoforo which boasts a bell tower from the 1800's and the remains of the dei Battuti Church. The main activity here is wine production which particularly regards the production of Barbera and Moscato.
